Nigerian musician Odumodu’s hit song, “Declan Rice,” has experienced a remarkable 200% surge in streams following Arsenal star Declan Rice’s outstanding performance against Real Madrid.

The musician announced this surge on his X (formerly Twitter) page late Wednesday, celebrating the unexpected boost.

Declan Rice, the footballer who inspired the song’s title, delivered a man-of-the-match performance on Tuesday, significantly increasing the song’s popularity. The track, released in 2023, has been a massive hit, earning Odumodu the Rap Song of the Year award at the Headies.
