Veteran Nollywood actress, Muma Gee, unveils African Talent Pool initiative, urge Rivers State Government to key in

MumaGee Foundation, a non governmental organization, has unveiled a project known as ‘African Talent Pool’ in Rivers State. The foundation headed by Nollywood veteran, Muma Gee also called on the Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara to also focus on human development in the State.

Speaking during the unveiling of the ‘African Talent Pool, held at the complex of Nigerian union of journalist in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State born entertainer, High Chief Muma Gift-Eke popularly called Muma Gee said it’s time to focus on developing talents in the State and put them in best use.

Mum-Gee noted that although, the mmediate past Governor, worked on infrastructure but pleaded with Governor Siminalayi Fubara to target on human capital development for the interest of the state.

Muma Gee called on renowned Entertainers to come home and build talents for the future generation across the 23 local government areas in Rivers state adding that monitoring and empowering relented young people will bring about development and remove the youths from the streets especially with the current economic situation in the country.

The socialite and veteran Nollywood actress Muma Gee, further decried the activities of Nigerian youths who are involved in drug abuse, prostitution amongst others, stressing that the African Talent Pool initiative will help reshaped the mindset of Rivers youths against social vices adding that Rivers youths especially those at the rural communities have a lot of talents that should not be allowed to die.

She revealed that the project and programme is targeted at carrying along above fifty rural children between the ages of thirteen and above each local government in other to grow Rivers youths.
