Comedian Deeone demands accountability from VeryDarkMan over donations for his NGO, urging public transparency on funds meant for education.

Popular Nigerian comedian Deeone has issued an ultimatum to VeryDarkMan, demanding public accountability for donations raised for an NGO.

In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, Deeone called on the social media influencer to update the public on funds raised weeks ago for an NGO dedicated to improving education in Nigeria.

Deeone questioned VeryDarkMan’s silence on the progress of the NGO since the public appeal for donations, emphasising the importance of transparency.

He urged VeryDarkMan to address Nigerians with an update, just as he had openly sought their support.

“VeryDarkMan, I give you one week to wrap up whatever is going on with the NGO and report back to Nigerians in the same way you asked them for money.

That money is not for personal use,” Deeone stated, urging him to demonstrate full accountability.

Deeone further hinted that VeryDarkMan’s influence might stem from having “secrets” about certain celebrities, which has kept many of them silent on the matter.

However, Deeone maintained that because the donations were collected publicly, transparency is essential, and a private approach is not acceptable.

The demand has sparked conversation among followers and fellow celebrities about accountability and transparency in fundraising efforts by public figures.
