Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye also known as Mr P, has disclosed that his first choice for a job in his youth was football, not music.

He made this claim on his own Twitter profile as he recalled his time as a football player in Jos, Plateau state.

Even though Mr. P said that he still wishes he was playing football, he did add that he is appreciative of his accomplishment as a musician.

He also gave an analysis of reality, saying that when life changes the trajectory of a person’s life, it is fascinating to see how the future unfolds.

“Was suppose to be a Soccer Player or a professional footballer. But today I am grateful to be a professional and successful Musician/Artiste.

When life changes the direction of your future, it might be fun to see where those new horizons take you. But i still wished I was playing football tho😑 God bless us all in all we do☺️🙏🏽🙃”
