Mercy Chinwo worship concert in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, drew a record-breaking crowd on Saturday as more than 50,000 worshippers gathered for the Twen’Zetu Kwa Yesu event.

Held in the vibrant heart of the East African nation, the concert united young Christians across denominations in hours of passionate praise.

The atmosphere was charged with spiritual energy as the Nigerian gospel singer led a heartfelt session of worship and celebration.

Performing with a live band, Mercy Chinwo delivered a moving set list that included her well-known anthems such as Overwhelming Victory, Father Eh, Elevated, My Lover, Wonder, Confidence, and the universally loved Excess Love.

Each song stirred emotion in the crowd, many of whom had travelled from distant parts of the country to attend.

Reflecting on the experience after the event, Chinwo called the concert unforgettable.

“The joy, the energy, the love, and the glory of God were truly palpable in the arena,” she said.

Known for her soaring vocals and expressive delivery, Chinwo’s ability to lead worship continues to leave an indelible mark on audiences worldwide.

While she has ministered in numerous countries across Europe, America, and Africa, her recent visit to Tanzania adds to her growing list of global milestones.

Mercy Chinwo is signed to GNT Music, a gospel music label she co-founded with her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa.

GNT Music operates under Grace and Truth Nation (GNT), a movement that aims to transform lives through music, media, and ministry.

In a statement, GNT described Chinwo’s impact beyond just entertainment.
