Neither his family nor management has issued an official statement.

Frankline, visibly distraught, posted several emotional messages expressing disbelief and grief. “God, why! ODIRA, why leave us. The call I received just now was not a good one,” he wrote.

In another post, he lamented, “You were full of life just a few hours ago in South Africa… How can you return lifeless? I am drowning in tears. Death is rude. I am heartbroken.”

Colleagues have also reacted with shock. Actress Evan Okoro wrote, “How? No! I can’t believe this, nooooo.” The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has yet to release an official statement, leaving fans and the public in uncertainty.

Nwobu had survived a serious car accident just months earlier, an incident widely shared online, highlighting the pressures faced by entertainers and the importance of well-being in the industry.
