Wizkid says his daughter brings him joy as she looks just like his late mum, sharing the emotional moment during his sold-out concert in Los Angeles

Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has revealed that his newborn daughter bears a striking resemblance to his late mother.

The emotional revelation came during his sold-out performance in Los Angeles, where the Afrobeats star paused to reflect on the loss of his mother and the joy of fatherhood.

Wizkid, who lost his mother in August 2023, shared how deeply the experience affected him. He said that although the pain remains, the arrival of his daughter has brought unexpected comfort and healing.
