Burna Boy on Speed Darlington's release

Burna Boy reacts to Speed Darlington’s release, saying critics are lucky he has much to lose, hinting at his restraint amidst controversy.

Famous Nigerian singer Burna Boy has broken his silence following the release of fellow artist Speed Darlington from police detention.

Speed Darlington, who was rearrested on November 27, just two months after his first arrest, reportedly clashed with Burna Boy over remarks linked to embattled American rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

Darlington had previously taunted Burna Boy, referencing his connection with Diddy, who is facing serious allegations of sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

The altercation added fuel to their simmering feud, catching widespread attention.

Seemingly reacting to the situation, Burna Boy took to his Instagram story on Tuesday, expressing his thoughts in a cryptic yet direct manner.

The Afrobeat star stated, “When they talk nobody cares, but it’s a nuclear disaster when I react. You all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now, Walahi a lot of you wouldn’t be here no more. Anyway, make I just go buy another thing relax.”

His statement appears to underscore his restraint in addressing controversies, hinting that his current position and responsibilities as a global music icon prevent him from taking certain actions.

This development has sparked discussions among fans and industry observers, with some commending Burna Boy’s maturity while others debate the growing tensions between the two artists.
