Renowned for his unorthodox lifestyle and boundary-pushing public persona, Charly Boy said he was confident in his appearance and saw no harm in embracing the attention  even as a married man.

He traced the source of this confidence back to his father, the late Supreme Court justice Chukwudifu Oputa, who he described as a strikingly attractive man during his youth.

According to Charly Boy, his father’s gym-built physique and dashing looks while studying at Achimota College in Ghana made him a magnet for women.

“Rumours had it that women no let the fine Bobo rest. He was always showing off his body ‘cos he was a gym rat too,” he wrote, cheekily adding, “Yea! You can say, na my papa born me.”
