“I don’t get it. I really don’t get it. Why would you come to someone’s DM and write hi? Hello, Beauty. For crying out loud, you think we all have time to waste?” Eucharia questioned in her video, clearly exasperated by the lack of directness.

The actress elaborated on her view of such initial greetings without a subsequent message containing a clear purpose or intention, labelling them as unproductive “idle chatter.”

“Oh, so we should start chit-chatting. Hey, then I write hello, then you say ‘How are you?’ That’s fine. Come on, now. Man, shoot your shot, write your intentions, write where you’re going to, where you’re coming from, come on,” she urged, advocating for more straightforward communication.

Eucharia firmly advised that messaging, particularly in DMs, should be direct and intentional from the outset. She emphasized that people, especially those with busy lives and responsibilities, do not have the time for vague and drawn-out introductions. Initiating a conversation without a clear purpose, according to Anunobi, does not convey seriousness.

Furthermore, she offered advice specifically for those reaching out to public figures, encouraging them to be clear, concise, and confident in their initial message, as these are the qualities that are more likely to capture attention and elicit a response.
