Speaking during a panel session at the 2025 Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Lagos, the award-winning singer and record producer said he would love to appear in a spontaneous role that breaks away from the usual scripts.

“My brother was saying that he was going to give me a role. I told him I wanted to do a role that would be shot by a taxi driver or something out of the blue,” Davido said, drawing laughter from the audience.
