Uche Maduagwu defends Judy Austin amid the ongoing backlash over her relationship with actor Yul Edochie, dismissing claims she used charms to win him over.

The controversial actor insists Yul’s affection stems from the admiration and respect Judy gives him—qualities Maduagwu believes were lacking in his previous marriage to May Edochie.

In his statement, Maduagwu noted, “Judy did not use juju on Yul, she only treated him as a king and lord and that is why he is having happiness.

I do not support what Judy did, everybody knows I do not support it. In fact I am angry that she got pregnant with Yul, but this should be a lesson to married women.”

He argued that many marriages fail because wives stop treating their husbands with the honour and reverence they once did before marriage.

“Before a man marries a woman she worships the man, but when they finally get married, the woman begins to change her character,” he added.

Maduagwu stressed he does not condone Judy’s actions but believes the situation should prompt women to reflect on how they treat their spouses.
