Popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest has publicly supported billionaire E-Money after reports of his alleged arrest by the EFCC for Naira abuse and spraying US dollars

E-Money, the founder of 5-Star Music, was reportedly apprehended by EFCC operatives on the night of Monday, April 25, at his residence in the Omole area of Lagos.

Sources within the EFCC indicated that his alleged arrest was connected to the act of spraying United States dollars at a public event, which reportedly violates the Foreign Exchange Act.

An anonymous EFCC official was quoted as saying, “On Monday night, we arrested E-Money for naira abuse and defacing foreign currencies.

Specifically, he was alleged to have sprayed US dollars, which is against the Foreign Exchange Act. Preliminary investigations are ongoing, and he will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”

In response to these reports, Cubana Chief Priest took to social media to voice his solidarity with E-Money. He described the billionaire as a powerful figure who recently championed the Southeast region through a significant homecoming concert during the Easter celebrations.

“This is a guy who just did everything to push up Southeast with his just concluded homecoming concert this Easter. I knew they would come for him because they just saw his strength,” Cubana Chief Priest wrote. “They are doing this so they could break him to make him support them under duress.”

Cubana Chief Priest further alleged that this incident is part of a broader pattern of “oppression” against the Igbo community, stating, “We don’t die; we multiply. More billionaires are coming. Come 2027, we will support and vote for who we want to. We won’t be broken.”
