Kollington Ayinla K1 De Ultimate feud

Fuji legend Kollington Ayinla vehemently denies allegations from K1 De Ultimate that he failed to offer condolences, citing unanswered calls and questioning K1’s recent title and claims to Fuji leadership

Veteran Fuji musician Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde (Kollington Ayinla) has publicly addressed the accusations made by fellow Fuji icon, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate), regarding alleged lack of condolence following the passing of K1’s mother.

In a recent interview with Agbaletu TV, Kollington Ayinla strongly refuted K1’s claims. He stated that he made numerous attempts to contact K1 via telephone but his calls were neither answered nor returned.

This directly contradicts K1’s earlier assertion that Kollington did not reciprocate the support shown to him during the passing of Kollington’s own mother.

Kollington also voiced his opinion on K1 De Ultimate’s recent chieftaincy title, “Olori Omoba,” suggesting it has led to increased arrogance.

When Wasiu Ayinde’s mum died, I called him severally. He didn’t pick up, nor did he return the calls… I am the leader of all the Fuji singers. He can never be the leader when I am still alive.

Furthermore, the Fuji maestro firmly asserted his seniority and leadership within the Fuji music genre, declaring that K1 would need to surpass his achievements before laying claim to the title of leader.

Kollington recounted his efforts to reach out to K1, stating, “When Wasiu Ayinde’s mum died, I called him severally. He didn’t pick up, nor did he return the calls. Even on New Year’s Day, I called, and he didn’t pick up.

I was like, what’s wrong with this boy? So, I let him be. He can’t tell me he was busy. What was he busy doing? If it is because he was crowned the ‘Olori omoba’, that position is for his family at Ijebu, not for me. Does he want to become God?”

He concluded by emphatically stating his position in the Fuji hierarchy: “I am the leader of all the Fuji singers. He can never be the leader when I am still alive. For me to have survived the sickness that happened to me recently, it is only God that can kpai me”.
